Hey John, that sucks big time. I did a similar injury (complete tear of the rotator cuff) several years ago and opted to put of the surgery and stay on the heavy painkillers for awhile. I paid dearly after the surgery, but it was fun while it lasted.

The physical therapy after the surgery is the key. Do exactly what they say, no more, no less. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery!

Goodness!, Take Care of yourself... That knee surgery is no joke. If you don't behave (bed rest, mindful of your activities while healing, etc.) you could have problems for a looooooooong time. So take it easy and don't rush your recovery time!

Yea dude, get well man. Take it nice and easy, alot of my freinds screwed up there knees, i personlly hurt my knee playing football a couple years ago , i found that the only way to get better quick was take pressure off of it and just CHILLL! The more you bother it the more it hurts and longer it takes to heal.

At least your only gonna miss a couple BFT, and not all the YFT,WAHOOZ,AND MAHI. Youll be better in no time bro,JUST REST UP!!!
