No Brakes

No brakes, thats what it feels like when your tranny goes. Thought it was the pump and probably what started the problem since I had no pressure. Thought it may have been in the cable linkage with the delay in engaging. But strange as it sounds it would work fine till I got offshore. Seemed like every time we hooked to a eyeball and would take her out of gear, is when I would have at least a ten second delay. I would check the fluid and everything. It would all seem ok. But I would still have the delay. I would get back to the marina knowing I still had the problem.Let me tell you it ain't no fun trying to back a single in a slip with multi million dollar boats all around with no brakes.Talk about getting all puckered up...... My nerves can't take anymore! Any hoe, they tell me that the forward clutch pack and bearings are shot. Can't find a new 507, so have no choice but to rebuild. So keep your eyes glued to the gages and don't let this happen to you! It expensive!
Hopefully, be back together by next week.
