There's another side of this also. It's not just poor and uneducated people that won't work. What about the spoiled, rich kids that won't work or have everything handed to them and won't work for anything? They may not be getting a welfare check, but they're not going to cut their grass, wash their car, clean their house, or even watch their kids. Who do you think they're going to hire to do it? They're going to hire the cheapest workers possible right? This whole country is turning into a bunch of lazy people who won't work. Hell I'm so far behind on bills from this winter, I can't see straight. But I work every single day to try and bring in the money to pay bills. Think about it for a second....hardley anyone calls anymore, they text you. You can sit at home and do everythign you can imagine from your phone or PC now. Americans always want the biggest and baddest things they can get for the cheapest price. Whether it's boats, fishing tackle, cars, houses, clothes, etc. Americans will drive ourselves so deep into debt that we can't get out of it just so we can keep up with the "Joneses" so to speak. So now we need to buy cheap food and all other cheap supplies to stay afloat. That's why Wal-Mart type stores are so popular. That's why Americans won't do a medial job. They got too many credit cards to pay off. Now if someone wants to come here and work from another country and do it the right way....I'm all for it. Just get rid of the drug smugglers and illegals from ALL other countries and that would be a good start. My mother retired from the state as a worker at the Employment office and this is nothing new as far as work goes. The people that learned a trade made the money. The ones who went to college for 4 years and didn't already have a job waiting for them when they got out were the ones who couldn't find work.

a spoiled little rich kid is not drawing a check from the government. If someone's parents are well off, and want their own children to have plenty of money without having to do anything, that is their choice. It is not a burden on society.

You and I will be paying for the poor, uneducated that will not work. Big difference.

    Capt John,

That's my point, it's across the board. If you're wealthy and lazy, in MY book your just lazy, I don't care about your wealth. My point has nothing to do with social class, race or who your parent's are. Work is what built this Country, plain and simple. I have debt's, therefore I work, so do you. Folk's that work are not the problem. I couldn't afford 4 year's in college, either could my folk's. So I went into the service and got a REAL education. There are ALWAY's way's to do better for yourself and your family, if your willing to get out there and work. My point is simply the answer is not alway's higher education, some aren't cut out for it. But we all are cut out to do a decent day's work. If you have desire, the rest will fall in place.
I see everyday people that want, want and want some more, but just aren't willing to put the time in to get it. I agree 100% with you, it oughta be "open season" on the drug dealer's, gang banger's, co -orporate thieve's, etc... The way to start cleaning up our society in general is to instill the work ethic we USED to have. There has not been a hurdle that the people of this Country haven't been able to think out or work out, at least as of yet. But we are loosing the basic mentality that OUR parent's taught us, and their parent's taught them! I've never just handed anything to my kid's, they had to work for it. Were they like their friend's that got new car's, truck's, 4 wheeler's, etc... NO. What they have learned is, when "dear old" dad is no longer around, they know how to provide for themsleve's and their's. Isn't that really our most basic responabilty ? Frank
