Can anybody give me the inlet cordinates for both
Manasquan Inlet and Great Egg Harbor Inlet..

Running a boat down in the next few weeks from Rhode Island to OCMD and want to program in these inlets.

GE can get kinda sporty, and this time of year there's not much info on the docks yet concerning any shifting that may have taken place over the winter. You might want to consider AC instead.

Make sure to look at the chart and check out the shoal off of Brigantine. you don't want to hug the beach when coming into the inlet. It gets a bit shallow there.

Also take Barnegat a little wide... depending on the tide and the wind it can get a little snotty around there.

I'm from up north and don't know the waters down there very well but that is what I remember from running down to Cape May.

I'm sure there are some locals that can give you better info then I have above.

Good luck and have a safe trip.

Giant, you are correct, Great Egg is OCNJ and South of AC.
I've got all the inlet cord's for NJ except Barnegate.

If you have Barnegate available, that would complete my list.

    Thanks again

i am assuming you have a set of paper charts for this area, and that you have plotted your courses and headings on a nice stable table in a dry environment. Never rely solely on electronics. During the trip you may only use the electronics, but if they go out you will be glad to have the rolled up paper with your plotted courses and distances on it.

    Have a safe trip.

Thanks for the reminder Franky, I've got the paper charts and am in the process of plotting everything out before we make the run.

Ran from Manasquan a few years ago. It looks like @300 NM from Portsmouth RI to OC. First leg will be to Atlantic City NJ and next day to OC.

See you at the Fishing Center soon
