I'd rather give the feds the money than give another dime to our corrupt ass government here in Jersey, i'f you think for one minute that somehow that money will trickle or benefit us sportsman here---- never happen, will get spent by our gov on some stupid pet project or another state employee/politicians criminal trial!

Even at 1 million dollars to register it's still a cost.

I understand what your saying with all the restrictions that are constantly being thrown at us but.... If a saltwater license is going to improve the fishing quality by any means, I am all for it. Let's just say that they do charge us $15 per person. thats 18 million dollars a year. I for one don't think that $15 is too much to ask for to maintain the fishery. I don't think that an additional $15 is going to make or break most people on this site who spend much more then that for one trips fuel.

Hey, I'm not looking to argue about this, I just don't see the big deal with having a saltwater license. Most other states have it and you have to have a license to fish freshwater and hunt here, so why not fishing in the salt?

AS LONG AS THE MONEY GOES BACK INTO OUR SPORT.

They might even be able to put some more enforcement officers on the job and gain additional funds thru fines.
You don't understand anything, you're confused, but you still advocate more government involvement in your life?

Sorry, but you're really sounding like a shill for NJ Fish and Game.

HMS permit satisfies the fed registry requirement. Think NJ will exempt people with it? Doubt it highly. Costs pennies per person to maintain the data they are looking for. I'd be much more supportive of a NJ license if those promoting it would stpp pretending it had anything to do with the fed. registry. Typical sleazy politics.
