From Yahoo News:
"A total of 242,720 vehicles are part of the recall and it involves trucks sold or currently registered in 20 states and the District of Columbia. The states are: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin."
The problem has to do with air bag deployment sensors on trucks in cold weather states.
First Toyota with its truck replacement program and now Nissan. Too bad American companies, Caterpillar for example, wouldn't follow the lead of their Japanese counterparts without the necessity of complicated and expensive legal intervention. Sorry, just had to get my digs in.Storm
