All kiddin aside, since i started this little monster, i went from a pack to two a day, of course those days are now 5 a.m. to 9-10 at night..the stress gets me..the cig seems to calm my snap factor, which is not good if witnessed..of course that's all bull as a calming effect which is an inherent physical contradiction..but whatever for now.

Drinkin owned me. Damn near got dead giving it up but if I had kept up I was days or weeks from being dead any way. The smokes are on the choppin block now...
Put the patch on the bench and slugging it out cold turkey today. Dropin a quarter in the bucket each hour I don't smoke. Doin some work. Playin free cell. Pullin my hair out.
Still can't figure out the sudden blow ups on inanimate objects. First was a reel, then a lure, today I did a walk by beating of my la-z-boy. Don't get it. Not like I'm mad at these things. Just out of the blue. Better them than people or pets though...
Still struggling with the quitting thing myself. Finding that exercise is the key for me. Get out and walk if nothing else. Down to just a few smokes a day and not enjoying them anymore.
I've made it all the way down to like one a day before... That one to control the same kind of explosions I'm experiencing now. This time though when I get that far I'm going to lossenge or gum and kill that last "one".
As with drinking "one" isn't an option. Can't have the second if you don't have the first...
I smoked for 25 years 3 packs a day if I was drinking. I tried the patch but still smoked with it on.I went cold turkey and here is how I did it.First I got a flash light then I looked at the back of my throat with a mirror it looked so bad it wasnt hard after that. The urge to lite up lasts for about 2 minutes each time it occurs if you can make it through each urge it gets easier after about 3 days.Each time you get the urge take a deep deep breath it expands your diaphram and this releases natural chemicals in your brain that relax you,Really it works.When you take a drag off a cigarette it does the same thing.The deep breath thing was the best advice I ever got from a Dr. hell your screen name is deep give it a try.
Dad quit back in august on chantix. It worked but the side affects were ridiculous. I could see someone killing someone on that shit.
Not to be outdone my grandma who wasnt a very heavy smoker still enjoyed a couple a day went and got the wellbutrin. It worked for her and she says everyone she talked to liked it as well.
