    Newbie

    I heard about Sportfishermen through Surfergirl.

    I have been billfishing for 28 years,started fishing in destin Fl. got my first white mariln when i was 14 I wanted to take it home with me and I never looked back.

    I have fished the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Cuba, Eastcoast Fla., the Carolinas, All of the Bahamas, Turks and Caiocos, D.R. , Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Venezula, St. Marteen, Antigua, San Salvador, I even had the honor of fishing the ESPN Billfish Extreme League, I was the Captain for the Britiney Jean which was a 67 Bertram. We won the tournament in St. Marteen, with 5 Blues and 4 whites. biggest fish to date 749# won the east pass tornament in destin fl.1993. Last year we tagged 92 Billfish. Also caught my first spearfish in Venezula last year, it was kikkin!!

    OBTW... Thanks for all the help on the Tarpon fishing here at Marina Bay, Lauderdale. I saw the 4 you have caught so far... all I can say is ... IT IS ON!
