Newbie

Hello, just wanted to introduce myself to the fine fishermen & women on this expansive site. I fish out of Wilmington, NC (Masonboro Inlet) and usually head to the gulfstream, hence the name on my boat "Stream Machine" - a lift kept 34 Yellowfin w/twin 275 Verados. I have been boating my whole life running up & down the east coast in various boats from PHMY's to my 43' Viking SF. I have always enjoyed cruising New England waters best but now focus on the magnificent fishery located inshore, nearshore and offshore of the NC coast. There is so many fish species here, it is difficult to know which ones to target! In Rhode Island I focused mainly on Stripers and became pretty proficient at catching them. The grouper here are a challenge as is king fishing and I really enjoy Wahoo, Tuna & Mahi.
Looking forward to posting some reports very soon!
