Hi all,
Been a lurker here on this site for some time, hadn't posted as I didn't feel it was right to other sponsors posting without being a sponsor first myself, as it is difficult to disguise what I do for a living. Thanks to Capt. John for getting me up and running as a sponsor of this awesome site!
I run 2 Center Console vessels based out of Newport, RI, a Contender 28 Open, and trailer a custom built Ray Hunt design to follow the tuna around New England. I specialize in light tackle pelagics, with an emphasis on sharks and bluefin tuna. I have been a commercial fisherman since my teens, and running other peoples boats for a while after that. I broke out on my own 4 years ago, and consider fishing a way of life rather than a job. I'm a hardcore angler, who likes getting like minded fisherman into the fish. Fishing is about as close to "church" as I ever get
I look forward to reporting the incredible fishing I have here in southern New England, and contributing to this fine site. Please check out my newly redesigned website, and hope to have some of you aboard in the very near future.
