Eastern NC. What do you people think of that place. Oh yeah almost forgot. The asking price is 399k a piece. Swan quarter does not even have a food lion to buy groceries at. Anyone think they will sell? App 40-50 miles to the gulf stream. Great inshore fishing for red drum, speckled and gray trout, and a small tarpon run in mid-late summer.

Rich people will buy anything. My neighbor who bought his place about the same time I did, just plopped down $5M for a piece of land in Washington State, because he liked the view. In the background of his "view" is an oil refinery!

Another guy on the other side of the street, just sold his place here in the Keys for $3.5M, and is moving into his log cabin in the North Carolina mountains. His "cabin" is 8beds/7ba and three stories high. You can whizz off the balcony into the lake. His "view" is of the Smokey Mtns is complete with smoke.

If it's on the seascoast, someone will buy it and put up massively overpriced housing that only the rich can afford. Some has to a stop to it before all the goood views are gone.

For the past couple of years my cousin has been running out of there and going out Hatteras Inlet. They say its easy. They stay some nights over in Hatteras, but it seems to work for them. I know a lot of the Bellhaven boys fish the stream from there.

PS. The bear hunting out there is awesome.

Yeah I am from there and hatteras and ocracoke inlet are both right there. Not only is the bear hunting awesome but so is the duck hunting usually. Been a bad year though. I just do not see the 400k price tag with there being nothing else there. Especially considering you can hardly even get groceries there and no resturaunt none of the comforts of civilization really.
