Loads of saltwater guys on here but I think you ought to be able to find a few that enjoy the freshwater baccarudas too. Bring it on. Questions, stories, as long as its got to do with wet critters its all good here. Welcome to the best site there is...![]()

Welcome aboard Joel
You playin with regular muskies or tiger muskies... My deckhand has got a hard on for musky. One of the few fish he hasn't caught... We have a regular guest on our boat that has a "secret musky spot" and won't cough up the info... My mate turns beat red when the guy starts talking about it and won't say where it is.
In the Bahamas I stick it to that guest real good. When its his turn to fight a fish, I tuck a rigger into Cuda country... "There's your Bahamamuskie..."![]()
welcome to the site.
i am from pa also.
fish mostly salt.
any pics of the fish you catch
I grew up in southern Ontario Canada, and did plenty of lake fishing. There were Muskies, but I never caught any.Caught plenty of large pike though. Also caught a few large Cuda's down south. They are very similar to Muskies.
I now live on the Pacific west coast, so it's Trout & Salmon fishing these days. Anyway, Welcome to the site.
You wouldnt be running the Allegheny in that jet boat would you? If not where in PA are you from? The Allegheny is shallow as hell up north and chock full of musky. I used to fish Lake Erie, Lake Leboeuf, Allegheny River, and French Creek, in NW PA for musky with my father in law. He is addicted to musky and walleye and spends most of the summer trolling around Lebouef for them. Its about 1/4 mile from his house and he is a permanent fixture on the lake. I grew up fishing along the Allegheny and the jet boat definately rules on my old section of river, alot of areas you could walk across where prop boats just cant go. When I was a pup and could barely afford the gas we would take the engines and pumps out of trashed jet skis and put them in 12-14 foot aluminum jon boats. Wasnt always pretty but they'd run the river between Emlenton and Tionesta and up French Creek to Cambridge Springs. Damn that was good fun, oh to be fourteen again....
