I adopted my first dog on Saturday. He is a rescued dog so his lineage is unknown but estimated to be a border collie Newfoundland mix, I'm curious how big he will get but he does have some pretty big paws and a great disposition.

He looks huge already...!!!![]()
He is five months already, and the pic is a little misleading, he weights around 35 pounds now.
Cute pup! Border Collies generaly have big paws as part of their breed. But with mix, who knows. Our Grady is in the 50lb range.
Grady is actually 60 lbs which is larger than most BCs.
Since your guy is a New Foundland/Border mix, he's probably going to be a pretty nice size, not to mention VERY furry!!! I recommend investing in a Dyson vacuum cleaner for all the hair!
BTW, he's absolutely adorable!!! Boy, I miss when Grady was a pup!

Here's a pic of Grady when he was about 12 weeks old and 20lbs (don't know if this helps you out a little for size comparison). He definitely grew into his paws.
I can tell you though, that our vet was right on when he estimated his weight (at full size) when we went for our vaccination visits.

thanks that does help, I'm taking him to the vet for the first time (first visit since I've had him, he had all of his shots between being rescued and adopted) on thursday and will get an accurate weight. He was projected to end up around 70 pounds at his first visit. His hair is starting to get shaggy now.
My Nufie, "Bear" weighed in about 120...When he wanted to say hi, he would stand on his hind legs, put his front legs on my shoulders and look me in my eyes, I just over 6' tall.
