New post stream trip 9/16 Wrightsville Beach

First time posting on sfc great site know a few people here. just wanted to give alittle report from out of wrightsville beach nc. on 9/16. Went to the break started about 27 fathoms hot water 85.1 around 138 line. Trolled offshore to 30, 50, 70, and 100 fathoms no bait still hot water 84.3 worked up the line finally ending the day at the 170 line 50 fathoms 83.4 water 4 bites 2 wahoos. Slow day should pick up soon after a few fronts move thru. Heard Hatteras boats did well though along with Mhc boats to the north?

Welcome aboard. Great to hear a report form down south. Things are starting to pick up. As long as the canes stay away and the wind doesn't keep us off the water it will be a blood bath before long.

Trophy sportfishing, Is that you John? Either way welcome to the site. A lot of good things go on here and there are a lot of us here on SFC in this area. We were out there fishing in the 90's to the 100's that day and had a couple of Hoos and Tunas.

I was out Saturday as well, running home tucked in behind Desperado, just to your south. We later crossed paths in the waterway.
I hope you'll like this site and stay active. We need more SE NC folks on here.
Good job on the wahoos. Radio chatter suggested it was slow Saturday offshore.
