New from N. C.

Hi, My name is David and I'm from Jacksonville, N. C. I live on the New River and fish for Speckle trout and Redfish. I'm a retired firefighter and fish 3 or 4 days a week. Lately I've been going to Bear Inlet and fishing Reds in the surf. They range from 23 to 33 inches. The island that I'm fishing closest to is owned by the Marine Corps and used as a bombing range. There are not a lot of fishermen out there. I'll try to post some pictures when I learn how.

Welcome man. I'm from Jacksonville also. I work at Eastern Outfitters and spend many days on the new River catching those same fish. Shhhhh about the military base fishing. Most people only know about MHC and Wrightsville on here.
