What's it cost to go on a headboat up there? The fine is probably half the cost of the trip!So what! They will just give it a shot next trip. These are some of the same guys that ***** about the flounder regs. Maybe 18" on everything might be the way to go. It's alot less downhere but a 15-15.5 does'nt yeild that much meat so the guys catch 20-50 for one keeper! NOT ON MY BOAT! There's more to a good day charter or headboat fishing than coolers and coolers full of fish. If your a charter Capt. check your greed factor as opposed to the need factor. Then have the nerve to run that check on your pasengers BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE DOCK! An educated charter customer and an honest straight forward Capt. is a benefit to the resource where ever you fish.

ATLANTIC CITY — State marine-conservation officers boarded two local boats Sunday and issued summons to 28 recreational anglers for violations of size and bag limits.
The violations, discovered aboard the boats Miss Atlantic City and Captain Collet, were for sea bass and tautog landed from offshore wrecks, said Capt. Joseph Meyer, a marine-conservation agent with the state Division of Fish and Wildlife.
Meyer said 400 sea bass and 26 tog were seized and donated to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. Each fish could bring a fine of $30 when the cases go to Atlantic City Municipal Court. Potential fines could total $12,780, although the state does not enforce the regulations to collect money from anglers.
