Hey jesse you shouldnt knock jersey I've fished all over the world and some
of the best fishing and tournaments are from here and you should be proud
of where your from it builds character and i'am sure its very nice down there
too.
i just, iuno, after living here, every time i go back to new jersey for christmas break or something , to visit family, i just look and ask my parents... WHY? why did u pick of all the places in the country, did u pick NEW JERSEY... then i go fishing at Island Beach State Park (im sure u know where that is) and i understand..
really miss fishing there all year round, but especialy in the late summer, fall, winter, and spring.
but i do NOT miss all the people. i cannot believe how much Toms River has built up in the last 6 years, its incredible. When i go back, i feel like im in a super crowded city..
but i do miss fishing with my dad at barneget bay, and manasquan inlet for fluke and weakfish.
some of my first fishing was done there..
any of you New Jersians know of the bait and tackle shop "Betty And Nicks" near seaside heights?
MAN i miss that place.. such nice people, always friendly, and great tackle.
if anyone from Jersey has gone to Hatteras or Buxton Here in NC, it is alot, alot, alot, alot,ALOT alike seaside heights in the winter.
nothing open but tackle shops, gas stations
no one on the road but fishermen.
love it.
im planning my next trip to Hatteras in a few weeks.
l o v e HATTERAS! so fun, reminds me o home ;-)
anyways, its 6:30 in the morning, i dont know why im not in my stand, or trout fishing right now....
