I think its 4 hours to Wilmington. Not a biggie for me. I'm used to the NYC to Cape May drive which is the same distance.

Yeah we're very close. Looking to do a little striper fishing this spring on the river. I just need it to stop snowing here in Charlotte.

Its at least that if not a little more. If you cut across country and somehow bypass that stretch around Monroe it will save you time.

Monroe itself isnt so bad. Its 74 from Charlotte to Monroe is the time killer especially in the mornings and evenings. The best thing is to pick your times and then shoot straight down 74. Even trying to go out around on 485 doesnt help because the loop is so damn big. Charlotte is just one big clusterfudge when it comes to its roads.
