New here from Calabash
Hey all. I new here. I have been viewing this site a lot for the pass few months and finally decided to join. I have been fishing since whenever I can remember. My grandpa owned a house right on the bay out in Long Island. Sag Harbor to be exact. I have always fished in a Lake that was in my neighborhood in NJ. I moved to NC in 2006. I got a job working on a head boat in Calabash back in early 08. I'm already the first mate. In the off season I'm the only mate. I have worked with 45 people by myself and have ran my tail off a few times. But I cant ask for a better job for my age and for now.
I not really sure what im doing in the future. I would LOVE to be a commercial fisherman until I die. But, the fishing business is just hard. And ever commercial fisherman knows that.
I'm always willing to learn about the ocean 100%. I always want to know why this happens and why that happens and I do the research to find out why it happens. If I dont, I would drive my own self crazy.
I think that is enough for now. I'm sure I will be talking with a few of you on here and I'm always interested in fish stories. (makes me want to go fishing more)
Thanks again
