new guy here
Hi guy's and thanks for having me on board. This will be my first year living at the beach and enjoying all the great offshore fishing our area has to offer. I usually do a lot of river and lake fishing for bass and catfish but now that i'm living here, figured i would try for some kings, grouper and other nice game fish. Looking foward to gaining some good tips and knowledge from all of you veterans.

Crab mustard is good
Welcome to Sportfishermen.com. I grew up fishing the fresh, and let me tell you, the salt has a lot more to offer. I do enjoy some spring trout fishing, and I'll never outgrow bluegill fishing, but I have seen some amazing things offshore that fresh water can't even come close to. Best of luck with your new adventures.

Stop staring at my Avatar.
Liveon the beach,Lucky guy. I am landlocked but enjoy a good deal of fishing in the area, Big bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, hybrids. BUT I also pull my boat to the salty stuff to enjoy the inshore and offshore fishing. LOVE the salty stuff and wish I could live closer. Maybe, HMMM!!!Enjoy this site, the best one on the net.
