New Guy Here

I just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce my self. My name is Glenn, I recently just relocated to Charlotte from San Diego due to a number of reasons.

I mostly fished offshore San Diego & N. Baja, but I've been to PV and Costa Rica. I have Panama on my list!

I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you guys here on the East Coast. I'm originally from NY, so it nice to be back.

I'm hoping to get out and fish soon cuz I haven't been on the water in way too long and I'm going crazy. I have a new son that is just 6 months old, so he's been getting my attention.

I wrap my own rods and I'm gonna get started on building some popping rods and deep jigging rods, and I can't wait to get my first AJ!

Hopefully I can get out with some of you guys in NC! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Welcome. I just moved to Huntersville from the NYC area. PM me if you want to hook up and get on some Bass. There is also a pretty good striper fishery here.

Thanks Paul. Yeah, those AJ's look like fun.
I've been reading some of your posts on rod building, mostly vertical jigging rods. I just wanted to say thanks for all the info you provide on here. It has helped me decide on how to get started.

Welcome to Charlotte, like Teddy said theres a hell of a fishery right here in Norman, Wylie, Fishing Creek, and Wateree. Im actually hoping to be heading to San Diego here in the next couple months, waiting for some Ts and Is to be crossed and dotted and Im west coast bound. How'd you like it out there?

There is a ton of info in the jigging forum also. I know last year there were a few threads that really got into the nuts and bolts of jigging rods. Welcome.
