New to forum looking for boat

    Hi all,

I am new to this forum. I am looking for a 22' to 24' bay boat for use in the Central Florida Gulf Coast area. Does anyone have some ideas on a good boat that can be used both on the flats and out a bit in the gulf or bay areas?

I have a 24' seapro bay boat and absolutely love it. Fish it in the Pamlico Sound in NC in 2 - 3 ft CHOP. Got it late last year and have not had a chance to take it out in the Atlantic, but it should handle it well.

    Welcome aboard!!

Well, I am admittedly biased, but we have been very happy with our Andros Permit 22. I think it might be a good choice for you, as well. Not only the quality of the boat, but the quality of the company is first rate.

More good news, they are built in Sarasota so you can easily enough check out the boats and the people. Call up Andy Eggebrecht and go for a test ride. Start at http://www.androsboats.com/

Welcome aboard. We have a 23' World Cat. Her draft is 12" & we fish in the bay, and I've had her out in 500 fathoms catching tuna. Extremely versatile boat. We bought ours from SFC member Fowlscay. He's in MD, but shoot him a PM & I'm sure he can find you a dealer in your area.
