What Box said about keeping the $$$ in the Mother Country kinda struck a nerve. I agree, we spend more than we should supporting other nations.JMO

So we made the decision to go for it in NC. After several conversations with Box we booked our trip with Capt. Brain and Box on the RUN OFF for the middle of June. Anyway I speak redneck better than mexican so we won't have a communication problem.

Any of you guy's tagged nice Blue or White Marlin out there in that part of the world? Show me some photos.

No, I'm not that Todd Walker. I was asked that question alot about 7 or 8 years ago when he played for the Colorado Rockies. I don't keep up with professional sports much but, I guess he must have been a star at the time.

Me, I'm just redneck scooter trash. We spend alot of time riding our Harley's in the desert of Arizona.

Never did well gambling after losing more than I should have I finally gave it up, still do a little nickel, dime, quarter stuff but that's it. Mostly just show up to have a few beers and tell fishing lies

Thought I'd drop in a quick note to introduce my self to you guy's. I'm land locked in Arizona so I don't get out on the big water as much as I'd like.

Done the tuna trips out of San Diego many times, taken albacore, yellow fin, and yellow tail. Lots of good times.

I have one nice sailfish taken off Key West and a huge dorado taken off Punta Colorado (van wormer resort north of cabo) last summer. The dorado was the best fight of them all.

I'll be turning 50 this year and I really want to take a big marlin, not to concerned with which spieces. The goal is 200 lbs. or larger. I was hoping to get some reliable advise on where and what time of year would be my best shot at doing this. Have seen alot of stuff about Costa Rica, any thoughts?
