THE NEW FISH TALE IS HOME

I said I would post more pics when I got the NEW FISH TALE home. yesterday was the big day. Left Lanoka Harbor, NJ on a new Contender 31 Open and headed South down the intracoastal.

Took my time breaking in the engines heading to Barnegat Inlet. Got out the inlet into the ocean. It was a bit snotty. Still taking my time breaking in the YAMIES, I looked inshore. It was looking like a good storm was about to hit. And then I way lightning.

"Well", I said to myself, " Self, I got about 2 hours on the YAMIES, they're broke in just fine". So I kicked here in the pants just a little and was making 4200 rpm's, doing 30kts in some pretty nice chop and she did not even come close to breaking a sweat. FISH TALE gobbled up the ocean like it was nothing. You could just feel she wanted more. MAN that ride was SMMMOOOOOOTH.

Needless to say I didn't worry about the lightning after that. Before I knew it I was turning into Great Egg Inlet and only a few minutes from home.

I have her rigged to fish with all the buzzers and bells. And she runs like a champ. We start fishing on her Saturday, and I can't wait!
