I don't know about your area, but there seem to be a lot of folks driving around these parts with oval, euro-style decals on their cars. They're kind of boring, so I thought I'd spice a few up. Here are my first two. One's for the Monster Shark tournament on Martha's Vineyard, and the other's for Block Island. I'm sure we could reuse the striper theme for other places too. What think??? By the way, they're the same size, just different angles.
good thinking, i wd buy those, move quickly and get them in the stores asap!
charlie, have u seen those boat hull wraps that look so cool with all kinds of artwork? do u do them? what cost for 48 footer sportfish? do they harm/protect the gelcoat? how long it takes, etc.?
Trollman - the package labels are printing as we speak! Decals will go into the bags, lables folded/stapled tomorrow. You're exactly right.
We're wrapping everything from laptops to trailers now. Most of the boats are center consoles so far. The thing about vinyl is that it protects the underlying paint/gelcoat from UV radiation. That's why you see a "shadow" when you remove a name from a boat. Cost is a function of sq ft of the project. After you roll the printing/laminating/labor up you should come out somewhere between $12 - $18 per sq. ft.
We just finished a van, here's the new view from behind. No limits, other than imagination, for what you can do.
Hudson -- be careful what you wish for! You just might see that next.
Packaging's done, first three are ready for retail deployment. So, as a community of fisherfolk, what do you suggest for a retail price? This is my market research phase of the launch!
charlie, i think u can get a small premium on what they cost for the non-fancy plain ones. the ACK needs to be more recognizable as a tuner, can u get the tuner's head on it instead of body? also, the MV is cool but cld it actually look more like a real shark bite or have shark mouth/teeth on it there? just my 2 cents.
on the wrap, i wd wrap my 48' SF for that price. what designs available? take a picture of the kids and make a wrap, or what? maybe some fish instead, or kids & fish.
