My name is Marty and I resently purchased a boat to be able to fish offshore. I am not familar with the Charleston area coast so any tips about the area will be greatly appreciated. I am currently keeping the boat in storage on Daniels Island. I plan to fish the weekend of October 31st if the weather permits. I would like to fish some of the wrecks offshore and the seas cooperate run to the Gulf stream one of the days. Any body have and suggestions
Hey noles81! Welcome aboard there are a couple of us on here from Charlotte. Unfortunately I cant help you with the Charleston area. Before I sold my boat I fished out of Myrtle Beach. Im sure there are several guys here that fish out of Charleston that will help out. Where about in Charlotte are you? It seems like everybody's except myself are in the Huntersville area. Anyway if you make it out over Halloween, Good Luck!
Ok, here's what you do...go into Mt Pleasant.. Find Haddrells Point tackle shop..walk in and say " Im new to the area and need some pointers" then grab a chair and plan to stay a while, HP is the BEST outfitter in SC and those boys are HARDCORE. welcome to South Carolina & SFC
