New Arrival - 2/19/08

It is with great joy, that Natalie and I announce the birth of our Son, Joseph Daniel Kavanagh, IV.

It is with great sorrow that we also announce that his Brother, Lee Perry Kavanagh, passed away.

This has been a difficult time for us, with the combined joy and sorrow in our hearts and our family’s hearts.

We truly appreciate all of the support expressed by our Families, Friends and Community.

It is difficult to express our emotions in these times, but we are feeling tremendous joy with the birth of Joe and profound sorrow and loss with the death of his brother, Lee.

Momma, and Joe came home Friday, and are doing great,

Lee was laid to rest in family plot, on Sunday.

We would also like to thank, our Doctors, Nurses, and other Hospital staff at Outer Banks Hospital for a professional and tremendously caring job.

I can only imagine the mixed emotions that you must be feeling this morning- god knows I went through them all just in reading your post. I am happy to hear that mom and Joe IV are well, and my prayers go out to Lee- it seems that Joe IV will have a brother guardian angel looking down on him.
