Got fish
CONGRATS ! AND GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING.
THERE IS 2 KINDS OF PEOPLE - SELFISH AND UNSELFISH. GLAD TO SEE YOU MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. ONE DAY YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER ,WILL JUDGE YOU AS A PARENT AND IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO THINK ABOUT YOU. IN A PERFECT WORLD, EVERYONE ON THIS SITE WOULD BE OFFSHORE FISHING. IT' S REAL EASY TO SPEND MONEY ON THINGS WE REALLY ENJOY, BUT IT'S HARD TO HAVE THAT DISCIPLINE AND SELF CONTROL TO DO WHAT IS NECESSARY. THE LESS TIME YOU SPEND ON THE WATER, WILL MAKE THE TIMES YOU DO FISH, EVEN MORE MEMORABLE. JUST MY OPINION. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

"If at first you don't succeed, don't try skydiving"
I ditto what matey1 said.I actually got my first boat when my daughter was 2.I now have the second child on the way.THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I AM SELLING MY BOAT.My daughter is all but 5 and is ready to become my first mate.Though the family has not had near the joy I have with it.It is now coming.Call it selfish but I work 70hrs a week and I need that fiberglass jetty. We found a great daycare. And this has prepared my daughter for school life. When other kids are afraid to go into the classroom and crying. She runs in ready to learn. My obsession with fishings takes my family to the beach everyweekend. And my kid loves it.Though they are on the beach and I am on my boat or cowboys I don't think she would trade it for the world.I say don't go off the deepend HR.Just try it out first. She can always quit work if it doesn't work out.We were scared to but it worked out 10 times better.
