    Never Forget

    Nor I.

But I think there's a subliminal message in the "never forget" crowd and their message. They seem to be saying to anyone who doesn't agree with vicious indiscriminate blind rage and killing of the likes we saw after 09/11 by Bush, et. al. that they've somehow forgotten. Well, just like many of you we haven't.

But in addition to the murders on 09/11 we tend to also remember the murders carried out by the American military on totally innocent people, like the Iraqis. And, we're disgusted that in the land of the free and the home of the brave such mass murders are tolerated in the name of nothing more substantive than blood lust.

We remember 09/11 as the end of an era, America's era of freedom. 09/11 was the lynchpin of our destruction by our own hands as we gave in to the rage and thoughless impulses of the worst in our society. We also remember that as the beginning of American fascism.

Give it some thought and I'll bet you'll agree that 09/11 was the beginning of more than just revenge. It may well have been the end of the America that we cherished...the free one.

Collateral damage is part of war,and we didn't invent it, nor are we alone in it. At least our troops fight as "fair" as we can, whereas our present opponents have zero qualms about blowing up women and children, even going as far as building schools next to ammo dumps.Ever notice how the dead women and children are paraded in front of the cameras after a strategic strike..well they put them in harms way intentionally..for one purpose..publicity..that's worthy of anger and rage. That's our opponents.

    Why Oh Why,

must you alway's put your words into someone else's mouth? For me Iraq had nothing to do with rage as you profess, if that was the case the place would have been turned into glass immediately. Iraq was a matter of when and where. Hussein wasn't going to back down, he was given several chances. He had previously proven his mind set, on his own citizen's. So if given the time and the ability(mostly time in my eye's) he would have built and used what we all feared. Maybe he didn't have the WMD that we were told he had, but even you know that given time he would have. I given the choice, I'd surely rather face a knwon adversary before he gain's the upper hand. Really just common sense in my mind, course that may be the problem. I'm just too simple minded. Frank

my wife, my kids, my practice.
Saddam had WMD we just didn't find them. How else did he gas Sunni's in Northern Iraq and killed some 130,000. In Iraq's war against Iran he gassed them too. In my mind that is WMD.

Frank is right, it was a matter of time before he built nuclear weapons and more severe biologicals than he already had. I'm glad they found that dirtbag cowering in a cave and then stretched his neck with a new rope. Now he is with his Virgins and Allah......burning in a hot tropical oasis!
