    Welcome aboard!

I don't know to much about St. Lucia but I'm sure some other members do.

And you can also check out the yellow pages adds I think there are a couple charter boats listed under international charter boats and St Lucia.

I went to St. Lucia on my honeymoon 2 yrs. ago in november and fished a half day trip. I posted in another thread my expierience there. You can look back on a thread on dec. 11 where someone asked about st. lucia and there are a couple of comments from different people on it. I believe the thread had the word honeymoon in it.

Don't let my expierience make up your mind. I went on the boats that has a contract with Sandals because it was easier for me that way. Like I said I only went on a half day trip. You might have a lot better luck than me. I know there were other charters that run out of St. Lucia but there is only a couple. Good luck!

Welcome aboard! I'm relatively new also. I went to St. Lucia in Nov 04, not much fishing activity that i saw. We stayed at Sandals Grande and they tried to sell their fishing charters to us, we checked out the boat and crew and decided against it. Did go diving twice...that was great, saw lots of different sutff.
    Good luck, welcome aboard!

I have not been to St Lucia but have fished out of several other islands in that area. I would recommend going to check the boats / gear out in person prior to booking a trip. We have been "suprised" a few times - the description and photos on the websites dont quite match up with what is actually there.
Find a reputable charter and check them out. Too many times I have been on these boats and their most recent tackel purchase was 3 worn out 1960's model Penn 6/0's and a handfull of rusty hooks.
Good luck and welcome to the site.
