Need a little help... MHC offshore

Finally got settled in MHC and looking forward to posting reports as I fish. I'm really jacked up about not having to run 70-80 miles to find decent grounds like I had to outta Virginia Beach. Anyway, I'm looking at taking a peek over the edge this weekend as the forecast looks well suited. While I'm not interested in the giants at this point, I would really appreciate some input as to what else maybe be running along some of the breaks I see NE of Morehead. I haven't seen many reports of other species being reported on the site here.

I would also offer a free ride to anyone wanting to go as well. Need to start a new group of mates, so take advantage of a freebie, they don't come along very often. My ride is a 30' Mako walk, decently fit out.

Welcome aboard Bitemysis. Looked at the SST shot the other day. I know it can change very quickly. But there looked to be some good breaks and water just offshore and a lil south of the Swansboro hole 74 to 78.9. Very nice break out in front of OI right now as well.

Enjoy the shorter run out of MHC. But if you go way south or pass the knuckle and turn north late summer, it can get lengthy in the mileage dept.

THE LEDGES THERE ARE NICE 180' OUT TO 360 FT....BACK & FORTH...THEN WORK NORTHERLY UP TO THE 39605 SAME DEPTH.....NOW I HAVE NOT LOOKED AT A SHOT TODAY...THIS IS JUST A GOOD STARTING POINT......IF THE TEMP BREAK IS SOUTH....TRY 39383 SWANSBORO HOLE SAME DEPTHS

AND TRUST ME....THE BFT ARE OUT THERE AS WELL
