Need a boat hauler, VB to MHC

Hey all, relocating down to MHC in a few weeks and need a someone to haul my 30' Mako w/a from Va. Beach. Prefer one that has a single boat trailer as opposed to multi-carrier semi. Thanks!!

Yea, if finding a hauler is a PIA, consider running it down yourself. We ran the Tuna Taxi (22 kt boat) down this summer and then back 3 weeks later and was a piece of cake. About 10 hrs boat running each way, Beaufort to Lynnhaven. Rent a car in New Bern ( drop off at Norkolk) and you're done. Definatly run the inside from OI to MHC--- a straight shot and easy navigation (except for the 2 miles inside OI on South sound side)-- just pay attention to the markers. Actually a fun ride.

Run it Down by water. Fuel should be less than a hauler. You can go down the inside if you wanted. Good luck. HOLWACHAGOT.

We could always wreck hop our way down.

BELIEVE ME, I hear everyone of you. I would LOVE to run her down myself. Problem is, with all the moving crap (and momma's "what do ya mean, you gotta run it down by sea and not help pack or unpack? you're gonna fish too? yeah, well dont' bytch when you see the bill for the hired help"), as well as definitely having to pick the right day this time of year and short daylight, 200 miles of unfamiliar waters, etc? Just one less headache I don't need.
