NGC chronicles the 2006 sockeye salmon commercial fishing season in Bristol Bay, Alaska by following the adventures of 3 competing fishing boat captains. For 6 weeks every summer, the tranquil Naknek River becomes a bustling epicenter of commercial salmon fishing as hundreds of fishermen from all over the world stake their claims. The result is one of the most competitive fishing seasons in existence as all 3 captains battle elements, fiery competition, the law & their own set of circumstances.

going down later this year 2/20-2/25. Fishing the 22nd and 24th again on the Obsession. The first year we went down, we fished a little later in the month and had far more numbers than we saw last year.





About this show on NGC, it is about the most ridiculous crap I've ever seen. Bumper boats on the high seas.

We fished on the Obsession last year in Isla and caught 32 sails the first day and 15 the next. Unreal fishing. This year we are going Feb. 10-14.
