    Naming a boat

What is the process for naming a boat... I had a friend that bought a new boat and wants to name it.. he said boat US had a form and it was 75.00. I cant remember the last time I named a boat.. Is this true? I used the one that was on it...I am superstitious

    Wow

I'm new to this. Do you really have to regester the boat name? Its like saying I can have the only black car. As of now my boat is not named. I bought it at the begining of last summer and it didn't have a name so I left it.
