    MD N J run

Leaving @ 3pm today to shuttle my fishing partner ( daughter) up to Newark
airport for a non-stop flight to Sao Palo Brazil. As usual the timing of this trip prohibits me from visting some of the coastal spots on the way home via the Garden State Pkwy and Lewes ferry ! The last ferry leaves Cape May @ 8pm!
(didn't they used to run later?) I used to be an expert at meandering but for now I'm gonna' be stuck running the NJ turnpk. Gues I'll visit in coastal NJ another time.

Thanks double d but I had no choice! Can't beleive how many people are on the road at all hours! NJ turnpike is 65mph then slam on the brakes then back to 65. Got back to OC at 1:15 am. It's no wonder we have an energy(gas) problem, everybody drives way past the speed limit and i suspect way over the most efficent rpm highway speed. Go figure! Jer, she is on the ground now. Wife and i are supposed to go there next July not just to Sao Palo but to see the country. I'll come up and see you, bring you any tackle you may need! I'll keep you posted as to when so if you need something i can bring it.

The Sunday of the WMO it took me 6 hours to drive from Runnemede, NJ (Exit 3 of the NJTP) to OCMD. I would have traded one of my kids to drive 65 mph on that trip.
