On my way to Sardinia Italy, little help

HAHAHA - gee, thanx for all the awesome advise guys, i now have a much better feel for the deal when i get there. The point about learning some of the common phrases makes a lot of sense and I will go buy me a book this weekend. Too bad the ol Lady aint going, Im going to miss her . I will bring the camera and do like I when I went through the NY subway and keep my wallet in my front pocket and my guard up. Again all- I sincerly appreciate your help and advise, if anyone else has any ,please except my thanx in advance- craig

For traveling , especially Europe, I always keep my money , passport and credit cards in a pouch I wear inside my pants

I don't even take my wallet. The food is great in Italy. The vegetables are excellent. I rarely eat pasta but have always found great non-=pasta items to eat there.
I have never been to Sardinia but have heard that it is beautiful
