My new year is off to a less than perfect start

So I picked my car up monday from getting a new power steering pump witch was replaced in august. I was a little mad because i had done nothing to provoke this no abuse or hard offroading. So everything was pretty good drove it to school on tuesday and back home that was it everything seemed fine. Drove it to school this morning still seemed fine. Well on my way home i lost my brakes not completely but i was pressing the brake pedal to the floor and it wasn't doing a whole lot. The car is a 1996 Tahoe and it weighs about 5100 pounds so it was not a fun ride home. Also today my ipod touch that was purchased in october has decided it doesn't want to work either. Im have just had it with that car though it has been in and out of the shop since i got my license. I haven't driven it hard or anything. The worst is probably a little mud but it was mud that just about anything could get through. Oh did i mention that if the car doesn't get fixed by friday it also ruins my fishing trip for the weekend.
