The mouthing will go away soon, and so will the puppy teeth.
There is nothing like a lab footwarmer. Mine curls up on my feet every night - but so far we've been able to keep her off the furniture...

Great looking pup! Good luck with the next few years hunting with him!

88- You still have a few good months of GOOFY puppy left. My boy is now about eleven months and over 70 pounds already but still gives us a good chuckle a couple times a day.
Give him a plastic water or soda bottle (start with a small one then move up) and watch him beat it and chase it around. Keep the top on it so it doesn't collapse if, no, when he figures out how to corner it and pounce on it. It is funny as anything I have ever seen, especially on the hardwood floors. It'll entertain you until he is big enough to carry around a 2 liter bottle and crush it in his jaws.
Great looking pup. Enjoy him.
That is a awsome pup!!!!Mans best friend....Mine will follow me whereever I go....You got about 2 1/2 years before he calms down...6 Months start training and he will be like a brother to you...Gotto love labs..Good luck!!!! Steve
He is a great looking pup. he is ready to be retrieving dummies in the yard...
Thanks Fred, quite honestly I've never seen a lab pup I didn't like, but this one sure is special!! Although not "field" quality retrieves, he is retrieving with consistency and "drops" it on command. I’m really stoked about his hunting prospects and so far he has exceeded my every expectation! Now if I can keep fishergirl from babying him too much I should have a great hunting partner as well.![]()
