Wow...that is the WHITEST lab I have ever seen!! Did she see a ghost or did she watch Deep C's video to Jersey?

Thanks Lee...I'm worse than the kids, age does not equal patience, 5 days til I pick him up!!.

Serious...after months of going back and forth on whether to get one, get a Black, Yellow, or Choc, then I'm stuck on the floor with 3 awesome pup's and I have to pick JUST ONE...very tough decision!!!

If you say so...I'm color blind, but I don't see anything that resembles yellow there!! Wow, what a unique pet!!!

    Wow,

Looks like a run on Labs this season.

They are awesome pets. I can't believe how good my new puppy is. He still hasn't chewed anything that he isn't supposed to and hasn't had an accident in the house in over a week.

I wish you the same luck that we are having.

My first one ruined the entire house.

I remember that pic the first time you posted it, nice tag!! Look's like he's gonna be a big boy. What size where his parents and what color were they, both yellow as well? Got to love those "blockheads"!!

The ***** is yellow and around 75 lbs

The male is black and around 85 lbs.

They really are good looking dogs. All the puppies were yellow. The mother had a little american look to her but the father was block head all the way. Some of Choppers brothers and sisters looked like the mother and some like the father.

I think your right... he is going to be a big boy.

Sorry about posting all the pictures but this is as close to a kid as my wife and I are willing to go. (we are way to selfish for kids) and I am just so proud of my "Son"

Good luck and keep us informed.

    Ted

Heck no, I think it's a great pic of Chopper, I'd post it again and again...especially as it looks as though your Giants might be the team to beat again this year. Now my next dilemma, the name. Hopefully nothing like "bootchewer", or "rugtearerupper", or the most notable "heATEwhat".

At some point I can almost guarantee that the dog's name is gonna be "Dammit" - but it won't last more than a few years

Not to hijack, but I wouldn't trade mine for the world...

They go from this stage WAY too quick...

Yea Fred, I'm kinda expecting to call him a few different names over the next couple months. That sure is a good looking pup you got there, and I really like the "greenie" chew toy in the bed. Btw...with pic's like that, you can hijack anytime you want as long as you don't mind me picking your brain when mine starts giving me fits.

Ask away. If you haven't had a lab before, I highly recommend the book "Water Dog" by Richard Wolters. Some of it is a little dated, but the section covering the forst few months is great.

BTW: Coleman makes a bunch of cool bird type dog toys... Ducks, pheasants, etc...

Giantfan already sent me a bunch of books last night, I don't think that is one of them, if not I will check it out. I've had lab's before, but I'm finding as I read what Ted sent is that you can ALWAYS learn something new. Thanks for the Coleman suggestion and your offer for advice/assistance.
