It's just a flesh wound. All cars depreciate, especially Audis. If you thought this was an investment, you were sadly mistaken.

after evaluating this situation i conclude how to get repairs paid for.....

obtain some broken up concrete chunks (softball size)....drive up Garden State Pkwy.....when you go under an overpass and you see cement crumbling/cracking.....pull onto shoulder..... put on emergency flashers......throw broken up concrete onto road surface.....then wait for police....when they arrive tell them that falling cement from the overpass dented roof.....and that there was nearly a major pile up as a result of the states negligence in upkeeping their aging bridge/structure.....and how is the state of NJ gonna pay.....

ok...if by any chance the above doesn't work.....tell neighbors your relatives are Soprano's......and that Big Pussy is gonna make a house call......

They will probably just cut the roof off at the pillars and weld a new one on.

yep the Ferrari is gone - Italian cars are nice but they require a service every 15 K miles. average cost for maintenance is about 7 grand.

I like to drive cars. The audi is made for a daily driver and doesnt require such crazy maintanence and is also covered under audi. So my moto is - drive it like you stole it.

Id like to add - Italian cars [ Ferrari ] handle great and are extremly fast , and Ive driven alot of them - but none measure up to the Audi thus far. The power band in the R8 is unbelievable !! driving at 100 mph and downshifting into 4th and punching it, still throws you back into the seat and having all wheel drive with a 50/50 split between front and rear wheels - the car handles amazingly.

For the record - I dont condone driving in excess of the speed limit and I certainly do not drive in excess of the speed limit in residential neighborhoods, thats what tracks are made for.
