    Music format?

Ok, My truck's cd player won't play mp3 cd's that I've burned but it does play cd's that I bought from a store. So my question is, does anybody know what the format for a "normal cd" is like one you would buy in a store is? Second question, Is there a way to convert mp3 files to whatever that other format is?
    Thanks for the help

I don't remember the name of the format, but it's possible to convert MP3 to it using Windows Media Player to record the CD.

Open Windows Media Player and select the "Record" tab. Add the MP3s to the list and record the CD

    Flat,
I used the burn tab both times. Is there a way to convert the files before you burn it? Since it is obviously not doing it in the processing stage?

    Try download.com

Go to Download.com and look up Audio, there are dozens of free programs you can use. Just try to use one that is free to use not a free trial one.
Or depending on what kind of audio card you have in computer, you may already have one that came with. I have a "Creative Sound Blaster" card and it came with the software from the card..... Good Luck.. Kevin
