Mrs. OBAMA wants 2016 Olympics in Chicago

so many depressed cities in the USA and Mrs Bama wants to bring the 2016 Olympics to their city of Chicago ...

guess they will want to revitalize the city at OUR & the US Olympic Committee's expense and probably a new studio for Oprah too......

more and more the Bamas are showing by their actions that they are for their own political and personal gains.......called SELFISH......not what he preached.....

seems to me a city that is in total despair and financially in need of a shot in the arm such as Detroit would be a more appropriate choice........but what do i know....i am for "the people"......unlike many in office.........

Hey knucklehead---- after you take your foot out of your mouth you may want to praise Mrs. Obama for lobbying for the 2016 Summer Olympics to be in the USA as opposed to the other cities ON THE SHORT LIST.
Chicago is the only U.S. City being considered for the 2016 Olympics.
The others on the International Committee short list of nominated (considered) locations are:
Madrid;
Rio De Jenareiro; and,
Toyko

The followiing cities were cut from the list last year by the International Olympics Committee:
Baku, Azerbaijan ( where ever da hell that is);
Prague;
Doha, Qatar

So, what is you preferred location Hatterized?

Obviously, you don't have a clue as to nomination proceedures for future Olympic Games, and I ain't going to explain what little I know, but I do know that the First Lady ain't got nothing to do with it considering the initial list for the 2016 games began several years ago, and the first short list came out in 2006 (or so) with Chicago being the only US location on the Committee's list of potential locations.

I ain't seen anyone step on their own crank that bad in a long time.----- So, now that you've have a while to think about it---
Where should the First Lady be lobbying for?----- Prague perhaps?

yup u are so right...Mr Bama will need to make some extra $$$ when he is out of office....so lobby for the Olympics for his home turf....and yup some years back his motor mouth was running...now he turned those duties over to her......hmmm...guess they will buy up some properties for rentals...cha ching.....and make sure its a banana moonpie you're eating....

and many other US cities have the facilities.....infrastructures....and venues......
