I'm just trying to figure out what you all are bitching at as it relates to the First Lady lobbying to have the Olympics in the U.S. It seems your concerns and arguements are conflicting. Could it be that you really don't have any valid arguements on this issue, but rather are more concerned with ridicule regardless of the topic or issue?---- naw--- that couldn't be.

Glenn Im trying to figure out why shes not lobbying to spend the money on real issues instead of wasting taxpayer money on bullshit feelgood projects that dont do anything long term. But what the hell along with the "Dont buy our insurance we'll tax (fine) you program" they'll just institute a "get in shape or we'll tax (fine) you" program to pay for the Olympic venues as well. Gee or better yet take the money their planning on using for the Olympics and put it towards their disaster of health care reform. But I guess thats all Dems have ever been good at lets mkae you feel good and feel patriotic for a little while because we cant do any other god damn thing right.

I guess I have a "who cares" attitude about the Olympics, if it's in this country it's a little safer for all the athletes...I think...but bombing the daylights out of a country for hidden agenda is a little tougher to swallow. WMD perhaps, but once they weren't there?....I'm all for giving the terrorists a 'closer to home theatre,' rather than fighting on our soil, but let's finish the f*ucking thing and get out of there........

And who can forget good ole Newt--- thats right, Newt Gingrich--- when in 1996 he raised holy hell over the IOC's threat to move the olympic vollyball events out of Newt's congressional district (Cobb County) due to it's anti gay policies. Newt raised holy hell and made a complete ass of himself because of the money that would be lost if the volleyball events moved out of his home county.
