moon Phase on Sailfish

Headed down to keys at the end of the month 25th. noticed there will be a full moon phase will this affect the sailfishing during the day? any help would be great.

25th of January should be the new moon.

Generally, the best sailfish bite is in the days leading up to the full moon.

The January full moon has passed, with the next full moon February 9th.

its a full moon down here in islamorada right now, and we just had a pretty good sailfish bite. the wind has been blowing all the bait up on the reef, so alot of boats using live bait have been racking up some good numbers. MAGGIE from Atlantic Bch, NC racked up 5 sails thursday and went 2-3 on fri. we went 0-1 today because the hook broke upon hookset, missed two wahoo and a monster dolphin. LOTS of life right now
