Mola Attack!

I always thought this was just some goofy half-a-fish that God made with leftover parts.

Now I'm not so sure.

I remember my dad telling me a story of how he was out tuna trolling off RI one time and it was very slow when one of the reels wen off. He grabbed the rod and started fighting the fish and out in the distance they saw a fish breach and thought it was a Mako but it ended up being a mola mola and soon after the breach the thing snapped the rod and the tip came down smacking my dad on one of his hands. He said that was the last thing they were expecting to hook up with.

Hooked one chunking at the dog a few years back... Fastest i've ever seen a fish run... It cleared the water quite a few times...
