Mini's Having a Tough Go...

Jeezuss I couldn't imagine losing one of my daughters. I feel for Mini. I lost two friends when I was in grade school. I know how she feels. Way to go Deep in respecting her decision.

In a typical woman move she changed her mind and went. Said it was awfully sad and that her friend looked more like a doll than a person. Said the brother is torn up but the parents seemed to be doing ok. Said the function was beautiful and almost 500 people attended...
Its good that she made the choice and its good that she went to start the healing process...

Like most things with kids it stung for a very short while. In the end she did go to the service and that provided closure... She's just fine with it now...

While in high school, I had two friends killed in a horrible car wreck. The girl was a sophomore and the guy was a senior in high school........ just two months from graduating.


Im glad she found closure.

Deep, Mini is very lucky to have you as a parent. Sounds like you're doing all the the right things. My prayers to the family and friends of this young one so tragically lost.
