    Microsoft Outlook question

Okay with the job moving I have an email issue that is making me mad.

As some know with outlook you can type a message and if something goes wrong computer shuts off it saves in to drafts.

My new email is not like that I have to sign on to a webmail server and it sucks.

My msn account is better than this and that is pretty bad.

Stupid question can I set up my email to work with outlook?

I have typed 2 lengthy emails with comparisons and hit a wrong key and lost it all. It sucks!

Mary - I might be able to help. Can you tell me what Webmail you are using - version number would help also.

For Version 6.0 - it should be saving drafts automatically, you just need to switch to the drafts folder and resume...

Here is the user guide - http://www.webmail.us/docs/support/webmail-6.0.pdf

    Mary,
I'm not familiar with Channel Blade Technologies, but from searching it looks like they are just a hosting company. Take a look at this link - you may be able to setup your outlook to work with Webmail - http://www.webmail.us/support/email-guides

Here's some advice I have given before, in this and similar situations.

If you have a long email to type, then use your word processing software to do the text. Word, Notepad, whatever. Then just "Select All", "Copy" and "Paste" it into the outgoing email.

I know the pop3 Server part but what is the other
    I have outlook 2003

    4. Do one of the following:
    • To use a POP3 server, click the POP3 button.
    • To use an IMAP server, click the IMAP button.

IMAP is just another mail protocol to allow a client to talk to a mail server - It does provide more function that POP3 - Here is how you set it up for outlook2003 - https://www.uwsp.edu/it/exchange/OL2003IMAPSSL.html

    Hey Mary,
Is there an admin for the system you can ask for the settings? Sometimes the server and port settings are not so straight forward or a certificate may need to be loaded.

So what's up with the Job moving, I missed that one.
