although stupid as shit to involve yourself in, it is a dog. I think he served his time. He could have killed a person and had less of a penalty. I am not a Vick fan, I think he is a stupid thug like many professional athletes. Either way, it was a DOG for crying out loud!

Maybe just a dog to you, but I find the company of dogs much more appealling than 95% of the people I've met. Sort of like when I hear about an "addict" dying of an overdose, it was just an addict to me. Now I know that the addict was someone's son or daughter, but an addict non the less. I look at it this way..how many teams are in the NFL..whatever the number is..then take 4-5 lineman and 3-4 linebackers..do the math..I'd bet 50% of those guys have dogs and are pretty pissed at this guy..whatever time he did, whatever monetary fines, penalties and bankruptcy, when they get done with him..as the old saying goes, "his mother will wish she never met his father"..they will put a hurtin on this thug. I actually think that is a kind description..

So Mikey, when they plant you, injure you, make you hurt week in and week out..YOU DESERVE EVERY BIT OF IT.

your missing the big picture here. Look at todays black youth.....think of some of the symbols they have, or role models for that matter. Pit bulls, rap music, pants falling down, guns, violence.......... The message that the NFL wants michael vick to deliver is this. If I was making 10 million a year, starting as an NFL quarterback and I got involved with the whole, east coast, west coast, pit bull toting, dog fighting, gangster in the hood mentality, what chance do you think you have in this world if the end of the road for me was prision? I think its a good thing for the NFL to do, Mike will become the spokesperson for this campaign, and it will become an NFL mission. Helping the young black inner city youth that think that his gangster behavior is a status symbol. It aint about football, so stop worrying about is he going to start if mcnabb gets hurt. Hubris, race has nothing to do with it man. Please don't sit there and say that the black youth is only looking up to athletes and rap stars. If you believe that, you sir are an idiot. The next time some famous white guy goes to jail for selling meth or rape, what if I was to say that he needed to be a better role model for all the white boys that only look up to country music and rock singers?
