Mermaids, sharks, and snorkeling

My brother, John Parker, is a creative guy. He builds unusual items for fun. He has a small A-frame lakehouse in Georgia that he built. He has added some interesting items over the years.

His first major project was the mermaid which lounges on his rafters in the main room. This required a great deal of work. Each scale was individually placed. She is a beauty.

He decided he needed an outdoor shower and he created a one of a kind. A great white shark which is a functional shower and plays the Jaws theme when in use. This caught the attention of the media and pictures have been displayed in a number of publications. On Dec 24th at 6:30PM on HGTV the shark shower will be featured

His most recent project is a woman snorkeling which is made in concrete.This will be placed near the shower. He wanted to make this into a picnic table but his wife who is the inspiration for this piece objected and it will be placed on the ground with surrounding plants, etc.

He is a self taught musician and writes songs and performs in his church. I believe he can claim to be a sculptor in the Andy Warhol Pop tradition.
