Medicare prescription drug program

Any of you guys on medicare or have family on medicare

The 2010 prescription drug programs are available on
http://www.medicare.gov/Default.asp

There are changes to coverage. It would be a good idea to get the list of drugs and run it thru the medicare drug plan finder.
It will give you the cheapest plan for your drugs. Plans can be changed from Nov 15 to dec 31.
Be careful to check the details on the final page to see if there are quantity limits . prior authorization, or step therapy for the drugs. These conditions may mean that the drug will not be covered even though it is on the list.
